Yirra Yaakin (Yir-raarh Yaarh-kin] which means �Stand Tall� in Noongar language, is based in the heart of the Noongar Nation � a distinct Aboriginal cultural group from the south-west of Western Australia. Yirra Yaakin is one of Australia�s largest Aboriginal-led theatre companies and has been producing and presenting an annual program of quality contemporary Aboriginal theatre since 1993.
